ISVMA 2006 Spring Seminar Series!

The ISVMA Spring Seminar Series offers you and your staff an affordable opportunity to experience a nationally-recognized speaker addressing issues that are important to both your practice and practice staff.

Offered at two locations:

April 9 at the Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, IL

April 30 at the Northfield Inn & Suites in Springfield, IL

About our Speaker

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Charlotte Lacroix, DVM, Esq. will be this year's speaker. Dr. Lacroix obtained her DVM at UC-Davis and, in pursuit of her goal to make greater contributions to the veterinary profession, Dr. Lacroix attended law school and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania. Her legal and consulting interests include assisting practice owners to select and form business entities, negotiating and facilitating the sale and purchase of veterinary practices, preparing buy-sell documents, employment agreements, commercial leases, and advising on malpractice cases, as well as, employment and animal law issues. She lectures on all these topics nationally and internationally and is an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania.

Seminar Topic

ISVMA receives many calls each week from practitioners seeking advice on a number of issues important to their practice. Dr. Charlotte Lacroix, DVM, Esq. will provide a comprehensive analysis of three of the more important and commonly asked questions:

1. What Constitutes Good Medical Recordkeeping
2. Internet Pharmacies, Drug Compounding and the Boogie Man - What They Have in Common
3. Ethical Practice - It Ain't Easy and It's Getting Tougher

Seminar Dates and Locations

The ISVMA Spring Seminar Series will be offered in two locations in 2006. The seminars are offered on Sunday to provide your staff with an opportunity to participate without having to close your practice. The seminars will begin at 9:00 a.m. (registration begins at 8:00 a.m.) and conclude at 4:00 p.m. A continental breakfast and full lunch will be served.
