April is Healthy Pet Month in Illinois
In 2019, ISVMA worked with legislators to pass a resolution declaring April as Healthy Pet Month. For the last couple of years, the organization’s Power of 10 leadership groups have taken on the task of creating social media posts and website reference materials for ISVMA members to utilize on their veterinary clinic or personal websites during Healthy Pet Month. These materials are free and members are encouraged to use them throughout April to promote healthy pets and proper veterinary care.
