The Illinois Veterinary Medical Foundation (IVMF) provides scholarships and helps ISVMA develop charitable programs related to the veterinary medical profession.

Scholarships to Class Representatives to the Illinois Veterinary Medical Association

Four veterinary students receive scholarships as a result of their interest in supporting the profession through involvement in organized veterinary medicine. These scholarships are provided to the ISVMA Class Representatives in each of the four classes. Each student receives $4000 over the course of their veterinary school education.

One second-year individual at each of the five accredited CVT colleges in Illinois, also receives as scholarship toward their education. These scholarships began in 2020 as a result of requests by CVT professionals.

The foundation invested $6,000 funding the interactive ISVMA Pet Clinic Exhibit at this children’s museum, which is dedicated to nurturing health awareness, encouraging earth-friendly choices and increasing science education through innovative, interactive programs and hands-on exhibits. Support of the Veterinary Heritage Museum

Recognize a Client’s Pet with a Memorial

You may also support the IVMF by making donations in the memory of client pets. The donation amount is selected by your clinic with the minimum being $5 per pet. Each of your clients receives an acknowledgment of your remembrance of their pet from IVMF. Email Us with your request; we are happy to work with you in recognizing these memorials.
