The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for part-time, 25% appointment as an Extension Veterinarian.
This position will be responsible for initiating, organizing, and executing collaborative programs with alumni, industry, professional organizations, non-governmental organizations, and governmental agencies to enhance the effectiveness of educational and outreach programs to further advance the mission and strategic plan of the College of Veterinary Medicine and the University of Illinois.
Position responsibilities include curriculum planning, teaching, and management of resources.
Candidates must have a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and five years’ experience working as a licensed veterinarian.
Preference will be given to candidates with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent and/or 3-5 years’ experience managing or owning a veterinary practice.
This position is a 25% appointment and will be a non-tenured, academic professional position with a starting date as soon as possible.
