Full-Time or Part-Time Associate Needed, $10,000 Signing Bonus, $120,000 Base
Position: FT or PT Vet needed for a well-paced, progressive small animal practice in Springfield, IL. Exp practitioners and new grads accepted.Compensation: Signing Bonus (FT) $10K. Pro-Sal formula used to calculate bi-weekly pay with $120 K yearly guaranteed base. Associates easily surpass their guaranteed base, even during pay periods where vacation/sick time was utilized. Veterinarian
Winnebago County Animal Services, located in Rockford, Il. is seeking a veterinarian with shelter medicine and spay/neuter experience to join our team as Veterinarian. Our veterinarian works with our kennel team to provide high-quality medical care to shelter animals, including dogs, cats and other domestic animals. Our veterinarian provides spay/neuter, and necessary surgical treatment of various medical conditions, herd health oversight, and healthcare maintenance on shelter pets.With an annual animal intake of approximately 4,500, our veterinarian provides humane medical treatment of all animals seen in the shelter and will play a role in the maintenance of shelter protocols. Veterinarian splits time evenly between surgical and wellness/medical with surgery in the morning and other duties in the afternoon. Knowledge of and training in shelter medicine preferred. This position plays a vital role in saving lives daily!

We have in house laboratory (CBC, chemistry, and urinalysis), digital radiology, and ultrasound.
